Wetside changing room improvements complete

We’re pleased to share that the essential improvement works at Ironmonger Row Baths changing rooms are now complete, and the female changing room reopened on 2nd November. 

What does this mean for customers? 

The female changing room is now open again, so all changing facilities are back to normal. The family changing room and the male changing room have also returned to their usual use and the temporary mixed changing village and pre-shower area closure are no longer in place. 

All of our women’s only activities have now resumed too. This includes the women’s only Adult Swimming lessons, our Swim for Women sessions in a female-only environment, and our women’s only Aqua Aerobics class. 

New no outside shoes policy 

To help us maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our newly improved changing rooms, we’ve now adopted a no outside shoes policy within the changing areas. Please remove your outdoor shoes before entering. Thank you for helping us keep the space clean and welcoming for everyone. 

What’s improved?

The refurbishment provides customers with improved changing facilities, creating a cleaner, more modern and welcoming environment that reflects the quality of the wider centre.
